These are accounts from myself and others that clearly demonstrate the abusive and hateful nature of the “Child Support” system. A system that claims to act only “in the best interests” of the children whom it purports to protect.
You decide for yourself if what’s contained herein is in a child’s best interests. Remember, for every father that’s incarcerated, there’s probably one or more children who lay in bed at night crying and longing for that jailed father they so dearly miss. Additionally, and in Ohio, a child whose father is incarcerated in Ohio for a “child support” related offense is not allowed to visit their father in prison. This is because the child(ren) is the “victim” of the father’s crime; crimes such as being unemployed in the worst economy since the Great Depression. Keep in mind that while unemployed, the State of Ohio most likely suspended that father’s driver’s and professional licenses to “prevent” him from working, then jailed him for not being able to work. That’s the reality of the “child support” system in Ohio. Do you ever hear of it being reported in the media?
Additionally, for every father who’s driven into bankruptcy and foreclosure by an unjustified and financially crippling child support order, there’s a child(ren) whose father is now homeless and prohibited by Ohio Courts from seeing his children because he has no home for them to visit him in. And were constantly told, that the aforementioned is “in the best interests of the children.” Really?
